It’s official, starting April 3rd, iPad will be available for sale in the US. Meaning if you happen to be there, you’d have a chance to grab one. Apparently, you can also reserve one via Apple store on the internet, starting March 12th, and pick it up on a real Apple Store.
What’s interesting though it’s that in this first installment we’ll have only WiFi iPad versions, for WiFi + 3G versions will have to wait until the end of April. On a rather interesting marketing and logistical move, Apple will make iPad available in Europe almost at the same time as US, at least for some important countries. Once again, here’s the price list, if you happen to be in US starting April 3rd.
Wi-Fi iPad:
- 16GB – $499
- 32GB – $599
- 64GB – $699
3G iPad:
- 16GB – $629
- 32GB – $729
- 64GB – $829
Oh, and if you happen to be in a rather generous mood, I’d be happy to receive one for my birthday. Just don’t ask when my birthday is, ok?
